Have you ever um found yourself standing perfectly still in the middle of your kitchen? Oh, I know where this is going, right? You know the exact scenario I'm talking about. You're just staring down at the shattered ceramic remains of what uh what used to be a favorite coffee mug
It's pure survival instinct. It really is. You're standing there, the handle is in three pieces, coffee is seeping into the grout of the tile and and you hear footsteps approaching.
The worst sound in the world. Exactly. Someone walks in, maybe your spouse, your roommate, a parent, and they look at the mess. Then they look at you.
Yeah. And instead of just stating the simple, undeniable, objective truth, which is, I broke the mug, which would be the honest thing to do, right? But instead, you look at them with these wide, innocent eyes, and you say, "The mug was broken." The classic pivot.
