The Flashcard Maker turns any vocabulary list into interactive flip cards with audio pronunciation. It is a free alternative to paid flashcard apps, designed specifically for language learners studying German, English, or French.

Create Cards in Seconds

Type or paste word pairs (one per line, separated by a dash or tab) and click Generate. Each card shows the word on the front and the meaning on the back with a smooth 3D flip animation. Click the speaker icon to hear how the word is pronounced.

Use Presets or Episode Vocabulary

Choose from built-in preset lists like “A1 Basics,” “Top Verbs,” or “Daily Life” vocabulary. You can also load vocabulary directly from any of our podcast episodes using the Episode Picker — no typing required.

Track Your Progress

Mark each card as “Known” or “Still Learning” as you study. A progress bar shows how many cards you have mastered. Use the “Review Mistakes” button to focus on the words you find difficult. This spaced repetition approach helps move vocabulary from short-term to long-term memory.
