Have you ever stopped to think how bizarre your own native language actually is? Yes, quite often actually.
Every day we use thousands of words and sentences. We conjugate verbs, build complex structures.
And all that without thinking about it for even a second. Exactly. But as soon as you try to look at that same language through the eyes of an absolute beginner, you suddenly discover that it's full of invisible rules.
Rules that seem to make no sense. Exactly. Rules that can just turn the whole dynamic of a conversation around, or what about specific sounds?
Sounds that are physically so impossible for foreigners to pronounce that their mouths simply refuse to cooperate.
