Welcome. Glad you're here for this in-depth exploration. Imagine, you're in a, uh, a quintessential Dutch supermarket. Yes. With those bright fluorescent lights full in your face.
Exactly. You have one of those baskets in your hand and you actually just want to, uhm, quickly grab some dinner.
But then panic strikes. Absolutely. You look at a freshly baked bread. You want to say something about it to the person next to you. And your brain completely blocks. Is it 'deze brood' or 'dit brood'?
You start to sweat. Yes, you just mumble something and suddenly you feel like a toddler again. Well, if that scenario sounds even remotely familiar to you, then you've landed in exactly the right place today.
Fortunately. Our goal for this session is to help you with the basics of Dutch supermarket vocabulary. And very importantly, to master that notorious grammar rule for 'deze' and 'dit'. And we're going to do that without you getting overwhelmed
